Senior ICT Administrator

Job Summary:    

The role of Senior IT Administrator is a multifaceted engineering role which focusses on the implementation, management, decommission and protection of all technology assets at a group level, including but not limited to Network, Servers and Managed Systems, Cloud Platforms, End User Computing and security platforms.

The role further extends to escalations from and leader to the branch and campus technicians as is required for the day-to-day operations.

Insights into technology decisions and budgetary requirements will be required as directed by the ICT Manager in the execution of the role.

Generic Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the ICT Manager and Technology Account Associate to ensure maximum staff and client satisfaction.
  • Updating of documents and tickets being worked on.
  • Working against strict deadlines as set out in class schedules, meetings, discussions, and events.
  • Demonstrates technical skills and product knowledge in all areas.
  • Assists in the implementation/execution of the company development plans as needed.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with colleagues in person and via Video calls and emails.
  • Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations if required.
  • Reviewing own performance, aiming to meet or exceed current work done.
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ or colleagues’ needs and requirements.
  • Might be required to help at other campuses to ensure the campuses perform on an optimal level.
  • Be energetic and hardworking and should be able to communicate well with colleagues.

Experience:

  • 3-4 years in a technology support role (Junior – Mid)
  • 1-2 years proven experience in a Senior Role.
  • Basic project management experience is advantageous
  • Proven ability to achieve goals and deadlines.
  • Must also be willing to work on a flexible schedule.
  • Punctual on documentation
  • Proven administrative abilities

 

Qualifications:

  • Matric or Equivalent
  • Vendor / Industry certifications or qualifications in the network space, such as Ubiquiti, Fortinet, D-LINK, and cabling standards.
  • Vendor / Industry certifications or qualifications in the end user compute space, such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Mobile Device Management / BYOD management.
  • Vendor / Industry certifications or qualifications in the security space, such as Ubiquiti, Fortinet, Microsoft Azure IAM and Microsoft 365 MDM.
  • Vendor training / certifications on Access Management and CCTV installations and operations

Corporate Sales Consultant

Job Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
  • cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new enrolments;
  • responding to incoming email and phone inquiries;
  • acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential customers;
  • negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
  • gathering market and customer information;
