SAP SD Functional Consultant (Senior)
Essential skills requirements:
- 6 Years SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
- Project and Support experience in pre and post go-live environments
- Minimum 2 Full lifecycles (ECC)
- OTC processes with Logistics Execution (LE-TRA)
- Integration to Middleware applications
- Operations Support Experience using ITIL/ITIL Tools
Advantageous skills requirements:
- SAP S4/HANA experience
- SAP EWM/TM/GTS understanding
- ABAP debugging beneficial
- EDI knowledge
- Relevant IT / Business Degree
- Data migration validation (pre/post-load validation)
- Agile working experience
- Strong Presentation skills.
Qualifications and experience:
- Required: IT degree or diploma
- 6 years’ experience
- SAP Certification
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the roll out of template and support of SAP Logistics (SD/TM)
- Support testing cycles, defect analysis and system monitoring.
- Go-live preparation and post Go-live support
- Receiving, troubleshooting, resolving, and closing Operational and Maintenance tickets within defined SLA’s (Service Level Agreements).
- Responsible for troubleshooting issues for the system and providing support
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
- Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs
- Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions
- Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members
- Functional refinement of requirements with Agile working model (Epics and User Stories)
- Following the Agile Methodology i.e., sprints, scrum meetings, retros in a DevOps environment
- Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.
- Preparation of testing documents and perform internal testing (Smoke testing/FCT)
- Integration testing with other modules
- Understand interfaces with cloud application, IDOC and RFC’s processing
- Executing the required changes through configuration
- Executing the analysis and resolution of Production Support calls
- Raising Change Requests (CR’s) and writing Functional Specifications for them
- Preparing test data for testing of CR’s (Change Requests)
- Testing CR’s (Change Requests) and preparing test results
- Update and maintain documentation as an existing system’s functionality is changed.
- Execution according to the Agile Methodology and attending of all team meetings, including Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning meetings etc.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Willingness to engage with foreign customers and be sensitive to possible language barriers and culture differences.
- Ability to work as part of an agile team, inter dependant and independently to submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality.
- Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project.
- Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required.
