Virtual Device (VDI) – VDI Operation Specialist

Essential Skills Requirements:

• Experience in operation of Windows Servers (higher then 2016)
• Experience in Windows Client (Windows 10) OS troubleshooting and patch management
• Experience with Active Directory and GPO
• Experience with Scripting (PowerShell, Python etc.)
• Experience Citrix Xen-Desktop (higher then 7.x) and Xen-App (higher then 7.x) full stack
• Experience Citrix Netscaler (higher then 12.x) and Storefront
• Experience Citrix XenServer (higher then 7.x)
• Citrix Certified Professional – Networking (CCA-N, CCP-N CCE-N)
• Experience Citrix on VMware Hypervisor Stack (higher VMWare ESXi 6.x)
• Experience with multi-factor and authentication technologies
• Experience in network infrastructure design and implementation
• Experience in troubleshooting infrastructure, network and integration issues
• Experience with ITL processes (Incident, Change and Problem management)
  • Plan and execute maintenance tasks (change management)
  • Plan and execute infrastructure lifecycle tasks (technical lifecycle, change management)
  • Resolve incident tickets

Advantageous Skills Requirements:

• Experience with cloud technologies and cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
• Experience in operation, maintenance of VDI technologies (Microsoft and VMware Horizon)
• Automated problem remediation
• Machine learning (ML) for data analytics
• Network troubleshooting skills
• Experience with cloud technologies and cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
• Experience in securing Cloud-based applications and connectivity
• Experience with monitoring systems
• Hybrid network design and implementation
• Citrix SD-WAN Certified (CC-SDWAN)
• Understand Rest API technology

Qualification & Experience:

• A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., computer science, engineering, sciences, etc.) or a comparable qualification 5+ years
• Operations experience with Citrix / VMWare VDI and App stack
• Experience with windows desktops and server support
• Experience with Windows Terminal Server
• Experience with software packaging and image creation
• Experience with hardware and software lifecycle
• Experience with ITIL processes (Problem, Incident, Change management)
